    Plex rails, instant playlist switching, faster Movies / Series

    Per-playlist VOD cache for instant switching. A single global fetch hydrates every Movies/Series rail. Plex catalog rails ship with full backdrop trailers.

    • Plex rail trailers with on-launch resolution + LAN > WAN > Relay fallback
    • Hot-swap subtitles on Android (Media3 + libVLC)

    • Movies / Series: a single global fetch now hydrates every rail
    • Hydrate rails from VodDiskCache at startup → first paint < 1 s
    • Parallel preload of the first 6 rails (movies + series)

    Fixed

    • Playlist switch no longer cancels in-flight rail loads incorrectly
    • Resume episode now anchors on max watched (Trakt + local) instead of S1E1

    Stalker portal hardening + tvOS focus performance pass

    Major reliability improvements for MAC/Stalker portals: token renewal, force-reconnect after 401, KSPlayer-only paths. tvOS focus is now <16 ms even on 60-card category grids.

    • Stalker token renewal instead of player failover (one-shot tokens)
    • forceReconnect after 401 stream lock (recovers entire session)
    • KSPlayer-only path for Stalker (avoids preflight token consumption)

    • tvOS category browser uses bitmap pre-rendering — body render < 5 ms
    • Search hydration from disk cache: zero spinner on cold launch
    • Sport Centre timeline now adapts terms per sport (Run / Touchdown / Goal)

    Fixed

    • Cold-boot theme regression that forced OLED on Apple TV
    • CloudKit sync race condition that overwrote favorites
